Marshal Suchet (1770-1826)
Military trophy clock in gilt bronze and sea-green marble, the dial flanked by a standard, laurel wreath and trumpet of Renommée, surmounted by a suit of armour, helmet, quiver and shield. The dial signed Ravrio Bronzier and Mesnil Hger.
Empire period.
H: 61 cm, W: 35 cm, D: 16 cm
Provenance: Most probably Marshal Suchet at the château de Saint-Just (Eure), sale Paris, Taquet study, 18 April 2023, lot 87.
