Two bachi bands :
- one in pink silk, marked "CHACAL" in gold, decorated with two naval anchors.
- One in black silk, woven with "JAGUAR" gold thread.
Presented under glass, on a moire background, under a black thread bow.
18 x 22 cm.

Historical background:
Le Chacal and Le Jaguar are two French Navy counter torpedo boats, commissioned around 1922.
The Jaguar was sunk on 21 May 1940 off Dunkirk, and the Chacal only survived for a few days, being taken out of service by a bombardment on 24 May 1940.
