CHINA, late 19th–early 20th century
A baluster-shaped vase with a flared cylindrical neck, made of copper and decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamels on a turquoise ground. It is adorned with flowering branches and birds amongst the foliage, set against a background studded with geometric motifs.
The vase rests on an openwork gilded bronze mount with four elephant heads forming the feet.
