A rare wall-mounted console table in richly carved wood, formerly lacquered, resting on an openwork base with double volutes joined at a polygonal plinth. The undulating mid-section is adorned with an openwork frieze featuring finely carved scrolls, foliage and floral motifs. The side panels are embellished with cascading flowers and acanthus leaves.
