Alain RICHARD (1926–2017) & Édition MEUBLES TV, from the 800 series. Tall sideboard in Rio rosewood veneer, opening via two doors, four drawers and a drop-down compartment, with black lacquered metal legs Designed in 1958 H_96.5 W_240 D_64 cm. An identical piece is held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. The 800 series dining room set, to which this sideboard belongs, was awarded the gold medal at the Deutsche Handwerksmesse in Munich in 1960.
