Description
Silver pocket notebook. Late 19th century The main cover is adorned with a sprig of holly, whilst the hinged upper section is decorated with foliage. The back cover, meanwhile, is decorated with chrysanthemums. It is topped with a ring and fitted with a removable mechanical pencil that allows the notebook to be opened and closed. The mechanical pencil is probably a later addition. Dimensions: L: 7.5; W: 4.9 Weight: 27.1. Good condition, with a beautiful dark patina.
