Callot Soeurs – “Jeep” - (1946) Presented in its cardboard box lined with paper bearing a polychrome title and illustration based on a drawing by Lucienne Coudert of a US Army Jeep parked in front of the entrance to a barracks (stain), a rare clear glass bottle, blown, pressed and moulded with a rectangular cross-section, the body of which depicts a stylised car grille, with a fluted neck, adorned on one side with a gold-embossed label, and topped with a frosted glass stopper depicting the jeep’s wheel and tyre. Bottle designed by Pierre Camin and produced by the Brosse glassworks. This perfume was created as a tribute to the wartime efforts of the American women who served in their army and came to liberate France and Paris. h: 12.5 cm
