Please note.
The art of stag antler furniture has its roots in the hunting culture of the great Germanic forests. It was in the 19th century, driven by the Romantic movement and its idealisation of the wilderness, that this craft tradition reached its golden age. The workshops of the Black Forest became the most renowned centres of production, supplying hunting castles and grand aristocratic residences throughout Central Europe.
