An ormolu episcopal candlestick decorated with palmettes. The handle bears the coat of arms, probably of Monseigneur Louis-Eugène REGNAULT, titular bishop of Euménie on 15 March 1852, bishop of Chartres on 1 January 1853.

The arms of Monseigneur Louis-Eugène REGNAULT (1800-1889) were azure with the monogram of the Virgin Mary argent, surmounted by an antique cross or, adextré of a vine branch argent, fructed of the same, and senesced of a wheat stalk or, the extremities passed in saltire. Motto: Misecordia et veritas t.n.d. (te non deserant)
