HACHE, in the style of SALON TABLE In lemon-tree, rosewood and violetwood veneer, with inlaid decoration of lozenges, scrolls and bouquets of flowers in stained wood. It opens with a leaf on the top revealing four compartments, a leather-upholstered writing tablet and two drawers above two drawers and a side drawer for writing instruments. On cambered legs. Paris, Louis XV period. Height 75; Width 47; Depth 31.5 cm (Restorations) Note. The assembly, typically Parisian, could be inspired by models of the models of the Hache family, but made in Paris at a time when it was fashionable to mix native woods with American woods.
