CROUTELLE, attributed AFRICAN NURSE CLOCK In chased, patinated and gilded bronze, the dial inscribed in a bundle of sugar cane supported by a Nubian woman carrying her child in a bassinet suspended from her neck, resting on an oblong base ending in flattened ball feet.
