Christophe WOLFF (1720 - 6 August 1795), received master on 10 December 1755. A wood veneered ABATTANT SECRETARY with allegories of the arts, sciences and letters, richly decorated with stained wood inlays of flowers, vases, books, a desk, a chequered floor, antique vases and bouquets of flowers. It opens with a flap trimmed with red leather gilded with scrolls, revealing four niches and six drawers above two doors. The uprights are canted with simulated fluting. Stamped Louis XVI period Grey veined marble top Ornamented with chased and gilded bronzes such as fleurons, foliate falls and foliate escutcheons. Height: 149.5 cm; Width: 101.5 cm; Depth: 42.5 cm (restorations)
