LARGE PARQUET CLOCK
In painted and gilded wood, the case containing a dial signed by Charles Bernel in Paris, richly decorated with dolphins, shells, scrolls and garlands of flowers. Each side is decorated with grisailles in the style of Piat-Joseph Sauvage (1744-1818) depicting lovers. It stands on a scrolled bracket base with a triangular pedestal decorated with scallop shells.
