A veneered writing table with a central recess opening with a drawer in the waist. The ormolu uprights are in the shape of caryatids and end in tapered legs with twisted flutes joined by an openwork brace and topped by a basket. Ornamented with chased and gilded bronzes such as chimeras, garlands of flowers, gadroons and mascaron. Red veined marble top.
