TAPESTRY PANEL FROM THE FELLETIN MANUFACTORY (late 17th or early 18th century)
Based on a story from the Old Testament, Moses saved from the waters by Pharaoh’s daughter (a scene from the life of Moses, taken from the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament), inspired by the cartoon by Simon Vouet commissioned by Louis XIII for the Louvre Palace around 1630.
Border decorated with foliage and curling flowers.
