A LATE LOUIS XVI-PERIOD CHEST OF DRAWERS in mahogany, mahogany veneer and brass trim. It has five drawers in three rows, with rounded sides; the upper section is decorated with stars, whilst the lower section is fluted, resting on tapered legs. Red and grey breccia marble, re-cut. H.86 x W.127 x D.59.5 cm (Damage, cracks and lifting of the veneer; brass fittings to be reattached; restoration work on the back panels; two drawer handles to be reattached).
