A set of four rectangular red silk panels, one embroidered in gold thread with ‘Pumen Dashi’ (the Bodhisattva Guanyin), lined in unbleached cotton, with an ink inscription reading ‘Luyue Temple in the village of Xintianwan’; the other three embroidered in multicoloured thread with immortals and children on qilin surrounded by flowers, butterflies and birds (numerous imperfections).
