It comprises: - Société Générale centenary medal from 1964, Diameter: 6.8 cm - medal bearing the effigy of Saint Bernard from 1953 by Lucien BAZOR Diameter: 7.2 cm - a commemorative medal marking the 150th anniversary of Frédéric Chopin’s funeral, issued by the Société Chopin Paris in 1999 and designed by Robert COUTIN, Diameter: 6.7 cm - Russian commemorative medal marking the anniversary of the death of Alisher Navoi, 1968, Diameter: 6 cm - Medal from the Mauchant Laboratory, 1968, by R.B. BARON. Diameter: 8 cm - Russian commemorative medal bearing the effigy of Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis (1875–1911). Diameter: 5 cm - Russian medal bearing the effigy of Frédéric Chopin, 1995. Diameter: 7.7 cm - Commemorative medal marking the launch of the ship Samuel de Champlain by the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, 1932, by Raymond DELAMARRE. Diameter: 6.7 cm - Commemorative medal marking the reconstruction of Paris City Hall in 1982, designed by Marcello TOMMASI. Diameter: 8.2 cm - two commemorative medals marking the launch of the ship Normandie in 1935 by the French Line Le Havre–New York Transatlantic Company, in their case (one oxidised) Diameter: 6.8 cm - Charles de Gaulle muzzle cap and the Cross of Lorraine medal by the Hamon Art Foundry, presented on a circular, tiered wooden plinth. There is a label on the back. Diameter: 13.7 cm Note: Muzzle caps are military accessories originally used to protect naval artillery pieces from sea spray and damp; they are now produced as commemorative art objects.
