A sewing box and music box made of veneered wood in the shape of a miniature piano, resting on four tapered, turned black wooden legs (with small slits). The lid opens to reveal a mirror (attached), three compartments containing an elegant sewing set in mother-of-pearl and 800-thousandths silver (one handle broken, small metal scissors added) on a removable central tray of purple velvet and silver thread covering the music cylinder.
