Note: The Constellation was the first aircraft to operate the Paris–New York route, enabling one of the stopovers on the outward journey to be omitted and the return journey to be made non-stop, prompting Air France to enhance passenger comfort by offering its customers the first private cabins, proper beds and a lounge bar.
