Height: 60 cm – Width: 90 cm – Depth: 45.5 cm Note: The Orenoque was one of the first French mixed-propulsion frigates. It was a three-masted barque powered by sails and steam via paddle wheels. Construction began in 1841 and the ship was launched in 1843. It gradually lost its appeal to the French navy, being swiftly replaced by screw-propelled steam vessels. It was then converted into a whaling ship, operating along the coasts of Newfoundland and the islands of Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
