Description
Chiseled and gilded bronze clock featuring an allegorical figure holding a torch and a water jug, vases of flowers and wreaths of flowers (scratches, oxidation).
The circular dial is enamelled white with Roman numerals for the hours, a minute track, and a square winding aperture at six o’clock (hands missing).
Key-wound movement (traces of a former wire suspension).
It rests on an oblong base of sea-green marble (damage and knocks) and on five small ball feet (one missing).
First half of the 19th century.

Included is a pair of brass candlesticks with Amati-style decoration featuring geometric motifs (altered, with distortions and knocks).
