Description
RACK-AND-PINION CLOCK with date and day of the week, third quarter of the 18th century. Later restorations. White enamel dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes, date at 12 o’clock, day of the week at 6 o’clock, cut-out hands in gilded brass. Barrel movement, horizontal verge escapement, simple balance wheel, steel rack mounted on a round, gilded brass base, chiselled and fluted, dial surrounded by sunbursts.
