Gold cylinder watch (weighing 114 g) with quarter-hour repeater and musical mechanism, signed (on the dial) ‘Paget & Morbiez’, circa 1830.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, ‘Breguet’ hands.
Gilded brass movement, mainsprings, cylinder escapement, brass balance wheel with flat balance spring, four jewels; musical mechanism comprising twenty-four vibrating teeth playing on the hour and on demand via a lever beneath the dial at 9 o’clock; gong repeater.
Turned and guilloché gold case, gilded metal bezel, both numbered 2822.
Diameter 5.5 cm.
