A three-link chatelaine in gilded brass, decorated with a man’s head in profile in the style of a cameo and featuring seven strands, holding a lyre decorated with half-pearl coral, a retractable magnifying glass, and three miniature cutlery items. It holds (with a locked clasp) an 18-carat yellow gold neck watch featuring a guilloché pattern beneath coral-coloured enamel, set within a frame of an enamelled foliage garland; white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals for the minutes.
