Double-cased silver rod watch with date display, signed (dial and movement) ‘George Graham London 39917’, c. 1815. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, date window in the centre, blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. Movement with a full engraved gilt brass plate, large open-worked and engraved cock, silver regulator disc, verge escapement, cylindrical pillars. Plain silver cases, one bearing the London hallmarks for 1815–16. Diameter 6.4 cm. Expert: Anthony TURNER
