A rod-style watch with a decorated dial and visible balance wheel, signed ‘Courvoisier Frères’ between 1801 and 1804. White enamel dial with hours and minutes at 6 o’clock, visible balance wheel at 12 o’clock, both flanked by two figures dressed in ancient style (Minerva and a philosopher?), blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. Movement with full plate, adjustment scale engraved on the plate, verge escapement, cylindrical pillars. Plain silver case. Diameter 5.6 cm.
