Louis-François COUCHÉ (Paris 1782 - Paris 1849). An album of 24 drawings: a frontispiece and Napoleon's major battles (the battles of Wagram, Friedland, Jena, Austerlitz ...). Pen and brown ink, brown wash, white gouache highlights on black pencil lines. Album size 26 x 31 cm. Various annotations on the title page: "pour les trophées des armées françaises (Le Fuel edit, Paris 1825) / Signé Couché fils (some dated 1819)". A few drawings are signed lower right, they are all captioned at the bottom. Slightly oiled, small stains. Appraisal: Cabinet De Bayser.
