Description
Large ebony veneered table cabinet with ivory marquetry and fillets, hardstone and light wood inlays decorated with foliate interlacing and rosettes in reserves. It opens with two doors in the front releasing eleven drawers concealed by a half-dome decoration adorned with ormolu and chased bronze figures and busts of women. The ensemble is punctuated by six rock crystal and gilded and carved bronze spiral columns. The upper part houses a hidden compartment and opens with a flap adorned with a mirror. The lower belt opens into a drawer. Northern Italy, Venice, 17th century. Dimensions when closed: H.60 W.59.5 D.40 cm. Wear and tear. CITES n° FR2502700092-K dated 25/07/2025.
