- Count de LA SUZE, Louis Michel CHAMILLARD, (1709–1802), Grand Marshal of the King’s Household. A signed autograph letter, sent from La Suze on 23 March 1756, concerning an intervention on behalf of the local miller, Mr Chauvelier (one and a quarter pages). Enclosed is a signed letter, sent from Paris on 16 April 1760, disputing land revenues (two and a half pages)
- Michel de CHAMILLARD (1652–1721), protégé of Madame de Maintenon, Comptroller-General of Finances and Minister of War. A signed letter, sent from Marly on 26 June 1706 to Mr Despontis, concerning a request made to Marshal de Villeroy for Despontis’s appointment to a post in Flanders. One folio page. Enclosed is a signed letter, sent from Paris on 8 April 1693 to Mr Le Bret, concerning the meeting of the magistrates of Marseille (2 folio pages); a signed note certifying the disability of a lieutenant of the Grenadiers, sent from Versailles on 7 February 1703, and a second signed certificate of retirement for Sieur Konckoly, lieutenant of the Saint-Geniez Hussars regiment, dated at Versailles, 22 December 1706 (marked ‘déédé’ on the reverse on 4 February 1707.
