Embracing Theo Van Doesburg’s motto: “concrete painting, not abstract, because nothing is more concrete, more real than a line, a colour, a surface”, they continue the work of De Stijl (Piet Mondrian, Gerrit Rietveld...) and are contributing to the abstract geometric revolution originating in South America (alongside Le Parc, Vardanega, Jesús-Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Martha Boto…).
