Émile Quentin BRIN (1863–1950) Still Life with Pears and Grapes, c. 1920 Oil on panel, signed lower left 26 x 21 cm Stained and gilded wooden frame Bibliography: An artist regularly featured in the major Parisian salons of his time, Émile Quentin-Brin exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1888 onwards, and then at the Salon de la Société nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1901. He also took part in the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon d’Automne and the Salon d’Hiver. His work was also featured in the 1926 Retrospective of the Indépendants.
