Francis HORNER (1778–1817), Scottish economist, journalist and Member of Parliament. Letter from the author, Wells, 30 August 1810, to Mr Sharp; 2 pages, in-8; in English. Whilst his correspondent is returning from Ireland, he himself is about to set off for the country; he will have little time to devote to sightseeing but intends to visit Lough Killarney; he asks to be told what is worth seeing there: ‘what is worth seeing & what is not worth seeing’. He will be in Dublin on 6 September, where he will meet up with Murray.
