John Ramsay MAC CULLOCH (1789–1864), Scottish economist. Letter from the author, London, 29 May 1826, to Mr Kent, Secretary of the London Institution; one and a half pages, quarto size, addressed with a red wax seal bearing his monogram; in English. He would like to bring forward his final lecture at the Institution to the morning of 6 June, instead of the afternoon of Wednesday 7 June. He has spoken to several people who do him the honour of attending his lectures, and they have no objection; he will inform his audience on Monday: ‘so that the change will occasion no inconvenience to anyone connected with the Institution’…
