Jean-Baptiste SAY (1767–1832). Autograph letter, Paris, 7 February 1816, to Jean-Jacques Paschoud, bookseller in Geneva; 1 page, in-4, with address. He takes stock of the copies he entrusted to Paschoud two years ago: 52 copies of the *Treatise on Political Economy* and 26 copies of the *Catechism of Political Economy*. ‘And since then I have not received the slightest word’. He has visited his bookshop on Rue Mazarine several times: ‘No news’. As these works are about to go out of print, ‘I shall be forced to withdraw any copies for which I have not been paid.
