Jean-Baptiste SAY (1767–1832). 3 letters, Paris 1830 and undated; 3 pages, in-8 or in-4 format, one address. 4 April 1830, at Dupont de l’Eure. He requests payment of the compensation due to Charles Comte [his son-in-law], editor of *Le Censeur*, and the appointment of Raoul Duval, ‘son of Mr Duval, one of the counsellors of the Court of Amiens’, as ‘deputy prosecutor in a criminal court within the jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Paris’… 20 July, to Auguste Hilarion de Keratry, of the *Courrier français*. He reminds him of “a short article on the collection of speeches by Pitt and Fox that Mr de Keratry had promised to have published in the *Courrier français*”. He sends him “another, more substantial article on Mr Dupin’s work […] and would be very pleased if it could be published without too much delay”… 25 July, to a general, whom he thanks for his “excellent speech”.
