He is concerned about Caillard’s diplomatic career and would like to know whether ‘you have had any prospect of securing a post, whether the matter has been looked into, and whether your salary will continue’… He may also return to the Limousin… Turgot is about to set off for the mountains and will be ‘on the move for the whole month.
