Description
Jean-Nicolas CORVISART (1755–1821), doctor. L.A., 26 Ventôse III (16 March 1795), to Citizen Lanefranque, doctor at the military hospitals in Nonancourt; 1 page, in-8, addressed. They will set off from his house first thing in the morning with Desault. “We shall allow the four days required for the journey and for the care of the patient in whose care we are going. It is impossible for Desault to grant any more, and my own affairs do not permit me to do so either”… Also included is an interesting collection of correspondence from Dr Alexandre Aguettant (1815–1870) to Ferdinand Hérold, comprising 18 letters, Romainville 1869–1870; plus an autograph letter signed by Antoine Becquerel (1864).
