Letter from the author, Monday 13 June, to Pierre-Marie Broussonnet; 1 page, quarto, addressed with a postmark from Versailles and a red wax seal bearing a figure. He regrets that the walk he was due to take with Broussonnet and Lamarck has been postponed by a week: ‘I console myself with the hope that we shall still find all our plants at St Leger.
