Engraved title page and music; catalogue number 507. The printed price has been scraped off. Printed from worn plates. The numbering ‘LIme Sonate’ (just like that of the first edition of the Sonata Op. 57, ‘LIVme Sonate’) has puzzled the musical world for over two centuries (see Kinsky, pp. 127–28); no satisfactory explanation has yet been put forward.
