Joseph HAYDN (1732–1809). Three Quartets for Two Violins, Viola and Cello, composed and dedicated to Count Antoine d’Appony. Op. 73 [Hob. III:69–71], (Vienna, published by Artaria and Co., [1795]); 4 folio parts in quires of 19, 19, 15 and 13 pages, bound in a marbled paper folder. First edition. Engraved music; catalogue number 601. The opus number has been written in ink. The engraved title appears on the first violin part; on the other parts, the first page is blank. At the bottom of the title page, the owner’s signature ‘Jezeniczky’; and at the top, an ink stamp reading ‘Aradi Zenekevelök Egyesülete 1883’.
