SAVOY. Marie-Jeanne-Baptiste of SAVOY-NEMOURS (1644–1724), wife of Charles-Emmanuel II, regent of the duchy on behalf of her son Victor-Amédée II. L.S., Turin, 18 December 1676, to the Archbishop of Tarentaise and ‘First President of the Savoy Chamber of Accounts ’ [François-Amédée Milliet de Challes et d’Arvillars (1623–1703)]; countersigned by Delescheraine; 2 folio pages, address bearing a seal with the coat of arms beneath the paper.
