One photograph was missing to complete this vintage spread. Miraculously, Kaoru Cauchetier tracked down the missing shot, which had been cropped by Raymond for his photo-novel montage. This shot stands out for its originality: taken off-camera for many of these scenes, it shows Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seberg laughing together, lending the entire spread a rare sense of spontaneity and camaraderie.
