Vintage silver print, printed in late 1959, signed in pencil and numbered “2612” (negative reference), with copyright and title stamps on the reverse.

Jean-Luc Godard, in a moment of light-heartedness, amuses himself by striking the pose of a flamingo, balancing on one leg. Around him, the actor Jean-Paul Belmondo and the producer Georges de Beauregard witness this scene, captured in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a mecca for post-war Parisian cinema enthusiasts and the birthplace of the New Wave.
