To mark the release of his first album in 2007, entitled PHOTOS DE CINÉMA and focusing on the French New Wave 1958–1968, Raymond Cauchetier created his own contact sheet to recount the race on the Charenton bridge. To do this, he combined three different contact sheets featuring his photographs. In order to guide the reader and make it easier for them to follow the story, he deliberately altered the negative numbers on this recomposed contact sheet. It should therefore be noted that this change to the virtual numbering was intended solely to ensure a smooth narrative flow.
