LE CORBUSIER (Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, 1887–1965) & Charlotte PERRIAND (1903–1999) & Pierre JEANNERET (1896–1967) & CASSINA (manufacturer) ‘LC4’ rocking chaise longue, a design created in 1928, in chrome-plated tubular metal with a sloping backrest and a curved seat resting on two arches. Black lacquered steel corner base with four tapered legs connected by an H-shaped crossbar. Removable black leather headrest and black calfskin upholstery (signs of wear; one strap requires re-sewing; one strap missing). Signed, titled and numbered 4152.
