Hanau tricolour gold and enamel snuffbox, 19th century, rectangular shape with rounded corners, the lid centred on an oval miniature in gouache and watercolour on ivory depicting a young princess in a red dress, wearing a large pearl necklace holding a precious stone, her hair adorned with a string of pearls, circa 1820-1840. The rim and lid are decorated with flowers and foliage, enhanced with red enamelled rosettes and green and blue tulips, 9x6.5 cm, gross 128g + Export and shipping restrictions may apply to this lot.
