SYRIA – SELEUCIA AND PIERIA – ANTIOCH (1st century BC; 1st century AD). Laureate head of Zeus facing right. Reverse: Zeus naked to the waist, holding a Nike in his right hand and a long sceptre in his left. ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ ΤΗΣ/ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩΣ. Tetrachalk, bronze, Ae 20, (7.9 g). Very good. Off-centre on the obverse, fine patina.
