SYRIA – SELEUCID KINGDOM – ANTIOCHUS I SOTER (280–261). Head of Antiochus I wearing a diadem, facing right. Reverse: Apollo seated naked on the left on the omphalos, holding an arrow in his right hand and leaning on his bow with his left; a monogram on either side. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ// ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ// (ΜΣ)/ (ΑΥ). Tetradrachm, Silver, ø30.5 mm (15.9 g). TTB+. Corrosion on the obverse but superb portrait.
