DIOCLETIAN (284–305). Aurelianus. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Diocletian facing right. IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG. Reverse: Jupiter standing naked to the left, cloak draped over his shoulder, holding a Nicaean globe in his right hand and a long sceptre in his left; at his feet, an eagle standing to the left, turning its head to the right. IOVI TVTATORI AVGG -|- P. Ø24 mm, (4g). SUP. Superb on a wide flange, beautiful patina, very good strike.
